The Domus Transitoria was located on the site of the later Domus Flavia.
The Domus Transitoria was Nero‘s palace on the Palatine Hill. It burnt down in 64 AD in the great fire and was replaced by the Domus Aurea as the imperial palace.
A part of the Domus Transitoria is found under the Triclinium of the Domus Flavia.
The now underground remains of the palace are not accessible to the public.
