This site is based on the photographic collection of René Seindal and Valentina Derito. Other photographs have been contributed by Tina Seindal.
Most texts are written by René Seindal. René has a M.A. in History and Italian and a B.Sc. in Computer Science, both from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.
René Seindal can be contacted by using the "Comments" link on the menu to the right. Feel free to send in comments, corrections, praise or criticism. Praise is much preferred, though :-)
The site is mostly a hobby project. It is not an academic endeavour, but rather a combination of holiday photography, immense curiosity and a strong desire to share the knowledge gained with other curious souls.
